Plot [ edit] While in Rome visiting his sister Hayley, Jack is trying to muster up the courage to kiss Dina, Hayley"s American roommate, before returning home to London. However, they are interrupted by Greg, Jack"s dorm roommate from university, who offers Jack a ride to the airport. Saying an awkward goodbye, both men leave with Jack upset. Three years later, Jack is at Hayley"s wedding. Bryan, an aspiring actor and the maid of honour, is more concerned about getting introduced to Italian film director Vitelli than helping out the bride. Hayley has chosen to not seat Bryan with Vitelli, as she has seated all the English people on the English table, which also includes Amanda, Jack"s "nightmare of an ex-girlfriend". Amanda has come to the wedding with her boyfriend Chaz, with whom she has clear commitment issues (he proposed six months earlier and she has not responded yet). Other friends of Hayley"s include clingy Rebecca and socially inept Sidney. Since their parents are dead, Hayley has asked Jack to walk her down the aisle. Just as they are about to, Hayley informs Jack that Dina has come to the wedding and is newly single. After the ceremony, Jack sees Dina for the first time in three years. The two confess to one another that they used to ask Hayley about the other. Marc, Hayley"s former school classmate, arrives uninvited at the wedding venue high on cocaine and plans to ruin the wedding. Hayley confronts Marc and asks him to leave. They are interrupted by Roberto, Hayley"s husband, who invites Marc to stay for the celebrations. Hayley asks Jack to drug Marc with her sleeping drops and he reluctantly agrees. Shortly after Jack puts the drops into Marc"s empty champagne glass, a group of children mess around and rearrange the seating order. The narrator comments on the many variations a table of eight can be seated. After the rearrangement, Bryan is now seated with the drugged champagne glass and quickly drinks it all. Jack arrives at the table and attempts to switch glasses, unaware that Bryan had already ingested the drops. Marc tells Hayley that he will tell Roberto they slept together three weeks earlier, if she does not tell him first. Hayley once again asks Jack to deal with him, so Jack and Sidney attempt to lock Marc in a closet. In the meantime, Jack and Dina reconnect, Chaz discovers that Jack and Amanda"s connection was just great sex and feels threatened, and Bryan attempts to deliver his maid-of-honour speech but just mumbles through it and than destroys the cake. Marc is released from the closet by a guest who hears his yelling. He goes up to the microphone and tells everyone about that he and Hayley had slept together recently. Roberto is upset, and after going out onto a balcony, has an argument with Hayley about their marriage being over, when he stumbles and falls to his death. The scene is frozen with Roberto tumbling over the balcony and the narrator reminds the audience of how the different variations of seats at the table can affect the wedding. In fast-forward, we see a number of those variations with different people being drugged each time, all ending in chaos and disaster. In the last variation, in real time, Jack is sat beside Dina but is also the one that ends up drugged. He attempts to throw it up, but is unable to. Bryan comes to the washroom and attempts to help, but Dina walks in on Jack on his knees with Bryan"s fingers down his throat. They try to move past it back at the table, but as Dina tearfully opens up about the effect her mother"s death had on her, Jack is struggling to stay awake which upsets her. While everything is going awry for Jack, the other guests make out much better in this variation. After Jack advises Sidney to work on listening to women better, Sidney makes a love connection with an Italian guest who is as awkward as he is. Bryan realises that Rebecca likes him for himself, not who he pretends to be, and they hook up and become a couple. His maid-of-honour speech is a success and impresses Vitelli. Chaz and Amanda realize through the speech that they are not together for the right reasons and part amicably. After a heart-to-heart with Hayley about always being there for each other, Jack manages to convince Marc to keep the hook-up a secret so that Hayley and Roberto can be happy together. As Dina is leaving the wedding due to a work emergency, Jack attempts to connect with her for the last time, but she says that while there was a connection, it just came down to bad timing and she leaves. Jack and Bryan chat at the bar and the conversation inspires Jack not to give up and put himself first. He takes off and races after Dina, catching her at the end of the street attempting to get a car. Just as he is about to kiss her, a random man comes up and tries to say how he knows Dina. While engaging, the movie still contains a troubling amount of sexist rhetoric and romanticizes an unhealthy dynamic between Elle and the exceedingly controlling Noah, whom she often refers to as a “violence junkie. ” It’s a shame, given the talent of King, who received an Emmy nomination for her lead role in Hulu’s “The Act, ” and Elordi, a solid performer on HBO’s “Euphoria. ” 7. “Love Wedding Repeat” (2020) As the title suggests, “Love Wedding Repeat” depicts alternate versions of the same day, on which Jack (Sam Claflin) tries to ensure his sister’s wedding celebration goes smoothly. Both versions involve him fighting off her ex-fling (Jack Farthing) and avoiding his own ex-girlfriend (Freida Pinto) while trying to spend time with his sister’s former roommate, Dina (Olivia Munn). There are far greater cinematic crimes than unoriginality, but that reminder does little to make this worth your full attention — especially when grouped with a lack of chemistry between the leads, jokes that never quite land and the narrator’s consistent reminders that, regardless of what these characters do, everything in life is up to chance. In “Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, ” he is catfished into believing he is corresponding with popular girl Veronica (Kristine Froseth) when he is actually speaking to Sierra (Shannon Purser), who is insecure about her looks. “To All the Boys: P. S. I Love You” paled in comparison to its predecessor, so we’ll stick it here, too. 4. “Someone Great” (2019) “Someone Great” is technically a breakup movie, though it contains flashbacks of the budding romance between Jenny (Gina Rodriguez) and her college sweetheart, Nate (Lakeith Stanfield). The movie is emotionally honest and funny in a bittersweet way, focusing on how Jenny comes to terms with the end of her relationship thanks to the support of her best friends, Erin (DeWanda Wise) and Blair (Brittany Snow). Plus, it has a really great soundtrack. 3. “Set It Up” (2018) My colleague Bethonie Butler wrote a helpful piece on why you might want to watch “Set It Up, ” in which the leads, Harper (Zoey Deutch) and Charlie (Glen Powell), try to set up their respective high-powered bosses, ESPN reporter/start-up chief Kirsten (Lucy Liu) and venture capitalist Rick (Taye Diggs). The plot is predictable, in that it embraces tropes of rom-coms past, but it never gets boring. Deutch and Powell bring an electric chemistry and modern feel to the movie. 2. “Always Be My Maybe” (2019) “Always Be My Maybe” is the brainchild of stars Randall Park and Ali Wong, who have known each other since the late 1990s. I know I get a lot of hate for saying this, but Infinity War was far more superior and far better than Endgame - the play in Infinity War was better, the story in Infinity War was better. Endgame seems a little too rushed, like everything just had to quit right now.
Endgame is certainly a great MCU movie, there is no doubt about it, but I thought there was too much hype about it, to what it actually gives the audience.
The scenes that should be sad and may lead to tears, I thought, were not quite as well done, either by the producer or the actor.
Thor, they have done everything too Stand-Up-like. It all seems like once the inn humor and junk.
That Iron Man eventually dies, to save everyone, that"s really sad, I must admit. but still seemed to be missing more than he just set out, said goodbye to 3-4 characters and then died.
Captain America to deliver the Infinity stones and then stay in Peggy"s time, but still in the present and handing his shield to The Falcon, I seemed strange + certainly not the right replacement as Captain America.

Avengers: Endgame is epic movie with good story and really good visual effects. even though it takes more than three hours to watch It feels like it would have only lasted two hours. this movie is funny in many places but at some points it can also be sad. Was hoping for the more thrills and drama.
Too predictable and not creative.
Lots of hype, but not the best action movie. Yes, there were lots of actions. Endgame is carried by irresistable emotion and nostalgia, but it doesn"t take away the fact that its 3 hour runtime and main story was not justified or fulfilled the way it could"ve been.
Feeling like more of a Captain America film more than anything else. Endgame is a more honed in and character focussed film than Infinity War, but it"s just not nearly as exciting. It opens with a phenomenally cinematic prologue that makes you believe you"re in for the Avengers ride of your life.
But once the story really gets going, it never really gets going. In fact they spend a tremendous amount of time in mindless despair when they could"ve just jumped into their time travel premise but sooner and been able to explore things with much greater intensity and context.
When Infinity War seemed like a near perfect "situation" type film for Endgame to use in their time travel pursuits, the Russo"s completely neglect that film, that timeline and that villain as if it was not meant to be. Sucking out the endearing excitement that Infinity War gave us. And instead give us the Greatest Hits version that works on some levels of emotion, but just didn"t quite fulfill the immensity of its intent. To save and bring back all the stones. Which felt more conveniently achieved rather than compellingly explored.
Ultimately they accomplish what they set out to do, with almost no sense of complication or challenge or even steaks at all. It gets to its climax so it can let all of its heroes have it with the great and undisputed Thanos, who isn"t even the same Thanos as Infinity War.
And concludes a movies that is clearly meant to be a fan-letter, send-off tale for the MCU. And boy on that regard, does it deliver. But in terms of story, it"s a hit and miss.
But nevertheless, it"s climax is something to behold. And furthermore its final few moments may even endear a stronger impact than one might expect. Making you miss a franchise you never thought you would.
But In the end it was big, powerful, and hopelessly long and nostalgic. But it certainly isn"t the 3 hour epic finale it poses to be. It"s just fine in its own light of excitement.

It is more than a movie this is an experience especially in theaters.

How awesome would"ve been if Wolverine also really pissed off. Marvel ses rien sans iro man. What is that last track from around 1:56:48 to the end? It is a really nice and kinda somber score. Its nice to see how Thor was really worried about Bruce. I wasn"t always like this. Me either, we work with what we got, right? Life lessons on how to speak with reserve rather than judgment. Let"s be honest: This is not the first time you come here. Avengers endgame postavy. Avengers: endgame hd free. I love how tony and Steve didnt flitch as Thor unleashes his weapons. let"s just say I completely forgot about this final avengers movie. Literally that episode of GOT blows this movie away.
MANY of the scenes weren"t important/forgettable. Infinity War was just better, whatever the Russo brothers were ready to retire, therefore comic movies are going back to being crap.

I want to begin by saying that had this been a standalone movie I would have probably given it a 4 or 5, but for this particular movie, the movie of the decade, the big conclusion everything was leading up to, mediocre-ness is worse than complete failure. We were promised a masterpiece and we received something that what so-so at best.
I"ll break down what I think went wrong, so spoilers ahead:
The biggest issue with this movie is the ever-paradoxical use of time travel. Unless you are making a silly comedy like "Back to the Future" it always messes with continuity and no matter how well you try to explain that the canon reality does not just collapse under the paradox, it is always going to feel like the lazy way out, and so it did in this one. Steve deciding to go rogue back to the 40s, thus ignoring all the character development he went through and irreparably messing with every timeline is not exactly the extremely satisfying closure we were promised in interviews with directors and actors. Overall I suppose the expectations were just so high that nothing could have lived up to it, but with the amounts of money and the access to great creators Marvel has I really would have expected something else- something as creative and mind-blowing as they promised instead of the honestly mediocre at best time-travel flick we got. Messing with timelines and essentially de-canonizing large chunks of the MCU just was not what I was hoping for.
Another thing I had a problem with is that this movie was supposed to perfectly conclude every character"s arc so far. We were promised a suitable ending of some journeys and at least a crucial point in everyone else"s. Instead, Black Widow was killed without ever even allowing her to develop a character. Thor, who could have been the ideal king of Asgard was turned into a fatphobic joke by equating his chubbiness with sloppiness (personally, I liked his new look. Thor looked rather like a man who is strong from physical labour than planned workouts and diet plans, but the way they dressed him in dirty clothes, made him lazy and greasy is just so terrible) while the lessons he learned in Ragnarok and the sacrifices he made did not seem to have any effect at all; the loyalty he felt to his people completely disappeared. Iron Man was ripped of his peaceful retirement, where for the first time he was allowed to try to heal, just because someone had to die dramatically.
Don"t misunderstand me, I am not bitter that they killed off beloved characters, in fact I understand that it had to happen, however I would have loved to see them take the characters" arcs into account. In my opinion, Steve should have died because he has no place in either the future or the past, and his mission is completed. Tony, on the other hand, should have lived because he finally made an effort to heal and overcome his trauma. I don"t mean to suggest that one or another character should or should not have died, I only think I might have been able to accept the way things turned out if there was a reasonable plot leading up to it that made their death a logical conclusion. The Marvel movies are fictional and everyone who goes to watch them is very aware of the fact that there is a team of writers and creators who crafted everyone"s arc and worked on it for a long time. I would have appreciated to watch the outcome reflect the amount of work and time I am sure many people put into this project.
Ultimately I have to admit that the messages we get to take away from this film are what really made me sad: People with trauma don"t deserve to heal, people"s actions and experiences have seemingly no consequences, and friendship and found family mean nothing against the ideal of a romantic relationship.
This is a very long movie and so there are many more things I could address, for example the "Hail Hydra" scene, Steve wielding Mjolnir, how similar this movie was to the last one, Loki"s unexplained disappearance in the past timeline, the cheap attempt of making up for the lack of lgbt heroes by showing a mlm extra in one scene, the list goes on. But all those things seem somehow related to the major issues I addressed earlier. Perhaps the hype was too big, perhaps the team did get lazy and rested on the success of the franchise or perhaps it is just me expecting too much from a superhero movie.
Regardless, if you loved this movie, I see your point, it is in many ways what we were expecting, but what I was hoping for was something new, something revolutionary that would surprise and amaze me. Maybe in another ten or twenty years we will get that movie I thought this was going to be, but I am afraid that by then I will not be interested anymore.
